I just came across your posting relating to John Frederick of Buffalo Valley.
I have been searching for years for a Pontius woman who married John Thompson Jr. John had a daughter named Mary with this woman. The Thompson farm adjoined property with Frederick Pontius. I have reports from relatives of the Black family who state that Mary used to visit with her family often while living with John and his second wife.
Mary is reported to have grown and married Jeremiah Black and moved to Columbia Co Pa, she is buried there.
If any of this would tie into your data, I would very much like to compare notes with you.
