Had Thomas of SNYDER spent his life at his birthplace, in 1855 he may have been in that portion UNION County that had given birth to Snyder. 1850 & 1840 Census has a Thomas in UNION.

In 1830 & 1820 he may have been in a UNION household of a PETER, perhaps his father.

In 1810 this Peter may have been living in that portion of NORTHUMBERLAND that had given birth to UNION in 1812.

The last time I had heard from the PONTIUS FAMILY ASSOCIATION they had not told of VERIFICATION of this theory. For a 1 year membership of $7.50 you should be entitled to learn that and anything else you are interested in that they have VERIFIED.

Happy e-mailing!!!
