Pont family in Sussex
I too have Pont connections in Seaford. Mary Pont was my Gt.Gt.Gt.Grandmother. She married William Cornford at Seaford on 22 December 1825. He came from West Firle and that was where both of them remained and had a family of, I think 6 or 7. William of course was an Ag.Lab. I think Mary ended her days in the workhouse.
