Hi Carol - which Ponts from Kirkcaldy are you interested in? There were two families of Ponts - one who had a small general store in the Gallatown, and my family wo were from the Links part of town. My father William Pont was the oldest with fiv sisters, one of whom is still alive. My Pont grandparents were married at 465 High Street, Kirkcaldy on 31 December 1900 and my grandfather died in the flu epidemic of 1918. My grandfather had a few brothers who spread around the globe a bit. I don't know if he had any sisters. Please let me know your connection with the Ponts.
