In the 1870 census of Carroll Co, Ga:
Eugenia Ponder 8 and Alexander Ponder 6 are living with John H Robinson and wife Catherine. 2 mothers in law: Mary C Robinson and Rebecca Johnson.
In 1880 census Talladega Co, Al:
William Pinkney Ponder 23 and wife Eugenia 19
Living next door to William H Matson, Eugenias great uncle.
I think that Eugenia may be the daughter of Alexander P Ponder. William Pinkney Ponder is the son of Alexander P's brother, William Fairburn Ponder.
So Eugenia and her husband would have been cousins. My question is, How is she related to the Robinsons? Eugenia's mother's name is only known to be Mary. Could one of the above mothers in law been her grandmother. Julia
