John Pierson (or Pearson) Ponder, b. 1818 in NC, m. Catherine Carter Pruitt, b. 1823 in GA. He was the son of John Jehu Ponder, b. abt. 1791, & Elizabeth Pierson. John Pierson would have been my ggggrandfather thru his daughter Martha Nancy Ponder. Appreciate any information.
