I am looking for any information on the Pomeroys/Pumroys/Pomroys. The ones I am working on are in the family of William and Sarah Pumroy. They had a child Thomas married to Margaret "Peggy" Quinn. .Thomas and Margaret's children were William Q or N,Caleb B, Samuel W)Their son Willis W Pomeroy is the grandfather to my husband.He was married to Nancy Jane Lewis.They had a son named Henry Melford. The places I have found where they lived were NC,GA,TN,MO,AR,TX,OK and some to CA. (Willis and Nancy Jane had; James R,Andrew J,George W,Sammy E, Henry Melford, Effie,John Robert,Etta H, Rufus Mack)I have all of Henry M children that was my husbands father.
Any information would be appreciated. I can not find where Willis W was buried or Nancy. Also, I can not find anything on William. I have dates other info should anyone need this for a match up. Willis W was in the civil war.
