Poltl Family Genealogy Forum
None of those names make a connection with me. Unfortunately, I don't know where my Poltl ancestors emigrated from. The farthert back I go is to my gggrandfather Joseph Poltl, the family thinks our Poltl's emigrated from Germany, but we just don't know where. I am in the process of ordering Joseph's death certificate which would indicate his place of birth. Hopefully, that will be here within a month or so. I just recently sent away for some Social Security forms for all of the Poltl's, there was only 5, in PA. Hopefully to make a connection, I know there has to be somewhere, with that few. Unfortunately, all but one Poltl, Herman, (Randy's dad) that would know where his father, Michael or his grandfather, Joseph, emigrated from has passed on. So my cousins and I have been digging around for a few years only to find links periodically. I am hoping to hear from Uncle Hermie soon.
Hope to keep in touch, I know there has to be a connection, there's only a few Poltl's, so I'm sure they all originate from the same.
Thanks for your time.
