Polstons in SC/NC - Sarah Margaret and Ollie Ruth

I am looking for any info to help me further along in my search for the Polston side of my family.They were in the Clio, SC and Laurinburg, NC area. My grandmother was Ollie (or Olive?) Ruth Polston married to John Purvis Odom. Her mother was Sarah Margaret (Maggie) Polston. I need info on Sarah's husband's name. I have seen it listed as "Jesse" Polston and also as William Allen Polsten. I would appreciate any info that could help to further my search - like the names of "Jesse's" or "William's" parents / or of Sarah's parents. Thanks so much!
