Civil War Vets Colling (Collins) "Paw", Sally Collins d. 4 yrs after William Polsgrove 1855-1891 leaving 4 children to be raised by their grandfather, Paw Colling, a Civil War Vet who had his head shot off at Shiloh while sitting in a tree. cf: William Fon Polsgrove. Paw Colling must have servived the loss of his head in order to raise his grandchildren. Comments anyone!
