5. James 1861 Camp Burnett - James L. born 1823, son of Henry & Nancy, married 11 Aug. 1849 to Elizabeth Whitaker. 26 Sept. 1861 enlisted at Camp Burnett near Clinton, Ky. in Co. I 7th Ky. Inf. Reg., promoted to 4th Cpl., taken prisoner March 1865, was in Fed. prison at war end.

7. A. Thomas 10-27-1861-62 Camp Burnett lb. 1829, son of Henry & Nancy, wounded Battle of Shiloh 7 Apr. 1862, died Lauderdale Springs, Ms.28 Apr. 1862.

10. Harrison 8-25-1862 must be William Harrison Polsgrove b. 1814, son of Henry and 1st wife.
Family tradition in one local family just that he died 1863. Another says that by 1863 his one remaining son, William Henry, age 11 at this time (1863), was sole male in his household as father, Wm. Harrison had joined his 3 sons in service to Confederacy. This account states that Harrison died in a P.O.W. camp in Ohio.
( I am pleased to see documented evidence that Harrison did serve. The book that I have seen curiously mentions only that he was the father of 3 soldiers, but does not actually state that he did serve.)
