Thank you for the response.
Since my first post I have made some headway which is consistant with what you came up with.
I actually have a signed copy of "the Victors"
Clement Wilkins Pollock b. 1923 St. Louis d. 1972 in Mexico under suspicious circumstances. Allegedly the movie "From Here To Eternity was based on him.
He married Marion Wallace who was the daughter of Asa Brookings Wallace.
His father was Clement Wilkins Pollock Sr m. Mazie Rue Bridges.
Grandfather was Clement Laird Vallandigham Pollock b.1864 in Ohio d. 1908/11 in Dorchester, Ma. m. Erminia Jane Anderson in 1891 in Antrim, Ohio.
Great Grandfather was possibly a James Pollock b. 1823 in Ireland d. abt 1903. m. Mariah Thompson 1863. I have some doubts about James and Mariah being in the line and the only thing I can find on James immigrating here is an old
prison ship record at:
My friend, Jessie Pollock has a box of family records in her basement but we haven't uncovered it yet. I look forward to doing so as it has much about the four Anderson brothers who came over from Scotland/Ireland and much on the Bridges, Wallace and Brookings Lines.
Happy to share anything with anyone.
