It helps when you post where in Pennsylvania they lived and when they died. However, from other entries I believe he died in 1905 just missing out on having a state death certificate which might have had the parents' names. Silas and Priscilla's deaths would have been recorded at the Allegheny County Register of Wills Office, but unfortunately at that time they rarely included the parents' names of adults. They did, however, include where they were born and are buried.
The 1850 census shows Silas in Baldwin Twp., Allegheny County, PA living next door to David Pollock's family. It includes David 54, Elizabeth 55, Peter S. 26, Alva 20, Mary Jane 17 and Benjamin S. 4 The chances are great that David and Elizabeth were his parents although it is possible David could have been his uncle or other relative.
David or Elizabeth's estate record, assuming they had one, would be on record at the Allegheny County Register of Wills Office. A deed selling his property after he died would be filed at the Recorder of Deeds Office.
His obituary might have listed his siblings names. If you know who his siblings were I suggest trying to get their death certificates if they died after 1906 from the PA Div. of Vital Records. One of them is bound to have the parents' names.
The Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania, Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society and perhaps the Baldwin Historical Society (located at the Baldwin Library) might be able to help you.
