I ran across this obituary, hope someone can use it.
Melbouorne Times, Izard County, AR issue dated May 3, 1945.
J. J. Pollock aged 100 died at the Arkansas Confederate Home last week. A native of Missouri, he entered the home July 6, 1933. He has no known survivors. Mr Pollock’s record shows he was born September 11, 1844. His death leaves but one survivor out of the many veterans who have lived at the Arkansas Confederate Home. With the exception of the lone veteran still at the institution, the population consists of approximately 60 widows and daughters of confederate veterans.
