Hi Trish.
I only viewed The Pollitt Family Genealogy Forum for the first time yesterday as I've only just recently decided to look up my family tree. What a surprise I got when I saw your communications with Marion as Squire Pollitt is my great-great-grandfather. You might wonder why I've only one T in the Pollit spelling of my surname, but that's down to Thomas Henry losing a T along the way making all the other generations of Pollitt's spelling it with just the one T. My family follows on from the Thomas Henry line. Most of us still live in the Manchester area. In fact the Cheetham area of Manchester England is just a 20 minute car ride away from where I live in Manchester.
If you've like to know anything about the Pollit's this side do let me know.
Susan. Manchester England.
