I'm quite sure your James E. Pollitt, buried in the cemetery near Pleasureville is the son of George H. Pollitt and Nora Reynolds Pollitt Cassidy who are also buried in the same cemetery. I don't have all my research with me, but I am sure I have a copy of his obituary found on line.
My connection is through Nora who is our great-grandfather's sister. I have been trying to trace this line for a number of years and am just beginning to make some progress. Nora's mother's name was Martha E. (Marthy) her second husband was a blacksmith in Mt. Carmel named Harvey Clary. In the 1900 U.S. census, Nora and her husband are living in the next household to Martha E., her husband, and two of Nora's brothers one of whom is our great-grandfather, George T. Reynolds. Have requested death certificates for Marthy and Nora in hopes of learning more. Always willing to share any information that may help someone else.
