Pollards, NH>NY>MN>ND>WA 1829- ca.1900
I'm closing in on my husband's elusive family and looking for anyone with whom to exchange info. His Line appears to be JONATHAN (ME/NH ca.1800); > LYMAN (NH 1809 >NY 1829 (see msg 1113/1114)); > GEORGE (NY> MN 1880's > ND 1889/90 > WA abt 1900); > FRED GUY (His middle name is the name of a prominent doctor in Broome County) (NY 1869 > ND 1889/90 > MN 1891); GEORGE HENRY (MN 1891 > UT 1915 > CA 1920-59). We have found Lyman moved to Broome Cty, NY, 1829.George moved to MN in the 1870's and I have traced land records across the state.I discovered Fred Guy and George Pollard living in Grand Forks, ND, 1889/90 where George is listed as a brakeman for the NPRR.Fred m. Elizabeth Abbott in 1890 and moved back to Minnesota where his children (Effie, Elva, Basil, Lloyd, and George Henry) were born.George the elder is said to have resided in Ballard, Washington, in "The Descendants of George Abbott of Rowley, Mass..."Family history has it that some, if not all, of George Henry's siblings moved to Washington State.
Any connections?Willing to share any info I have and am looking for any clues on this family.
