Hi Chris. My grandparents were Charles and Barbara (Polak) Brabec. They had 4 children, Evelyn, Olga (my mother) Ival (who passed away last week) and Alice. Albert is buried in the National Kasha cemetary near Narka. He was married to Josephine Skucius in 1891 and my grandmother Barbara was born in 1895.
I have a family portrait of Albert and Josephine with all 6 children from both his marriages (1st to Rose Simon). I also have portraits of Albert's parents. If you email your address to me, I'll send copies and all the info I have on the Polaks.
I'm hunting in Wisconsin. I have 75 acres and a very rustic cabin in the northern part of the state. My step-son-in-law got a 6pt. buck and a nice doe so far but I've got zip. Came home to check the cats, take a long hot shower and am going back in the morning.
My email address is jhill54703@aol.com. Later, Su
