I have begun to research my husband's family who came to the United States in the 1880's from what is now the Czech Republic. My husband's great grandfather's name was Albert Polak. His son's name was Charles Polak. The spelling of the last name has remained Polak. The family settled in Wymore, Nebraska and later in Kansas. I continue to search for the names of Albert's parents.
