Thanks John for your post. I have known of your research via Bill Polk for several years, but have not had the pleasure of reading your comments. I look forward to your book, please post here when it is published. I'm sure that we will gain valuable information in our search for our Polk ancestors.

I must comment that all of the Polk family does not have the means and/or talents for proper and documented research. Some of us are limited by poor health and or financing, and depend on those of you that have the means and inspiration to research and publish your findings.

Please realize that all well written and documented publications are the main material that the average genealogist have at our disposal, and all such work is greatly appreciated.
