Bob,
From research I have that was done by Emory Murphy and others in 1979, your Thomas Polk, Sr., 1757-1842, was married to Mary Shelby, 1765-1841, and second to Keziah Tarleton in 1841. Thomas was reported to be the son of William Polk, 1725-1806. You must have seen this. Is this one of those theories that is not correct or not proven?
