Glen W. Poling is my grandfather on my Mother's side. I know that he died in the Masonic home in Franklin Indiana I am unsure of the date. He was first married to Olive P. Poling madine name of Leppart. I know from what I was told that they lived in Muncie Indiana. He divorced her and married Jean madine name unknow. They lived in Blountsville Indiana until he moved to the Masonic home in Franklin Indiana.
I know that the family renions what held in Greenville Ohio. I am unsure if it was for the Leppart or for the Poling side. If I remember right the Poling side of the family came from Germany that there was 2 brothers that came over before the Mayflower as brick masons. I was told that they were suppose to have settled in upper state New York. I am unsure of when they came over to the United States.
What I remember that I was told that they came to Ohio. With the family business there was suppose to have been two brothers. What I remember being told that there was a dispute over something one went west to Indiana and the other went south. Any information would be great.
