I have more than 120 Poling obituaries in my files, most of them with central West Virginia ties. I have taken these obituaries mainly from The Barbour Democrat (Philippi WV) newspaper, and The Elkins Inter-Mountain (Elkins WV) and Clarksburg Exponent Telegram (Clarksburg WV) online editions. Most of the obits are from this century. I would be glad to share them with anyone looking for Polings with roots primarily in Barbour county WV. I have cross-referenced most of them to the Tatterson book, so I can provide information as to Poling parent or Poling spouse.
