John and Edith POLING, living 1851, Barbour co VA/WV

I'm looking for the parents of John POLING who married Edith and who sold land on Whitman Run in Jan 1851 to Bryan W. and Emily SCHOONOVER. I believe John and Edith may be the parents of Emily. If anyone has information on this couple, please let me know.
