In Peck's Genealogy (NYGBR) is No.87, Jacob
Polhemus (1764-1844), who married in 1786,
Elizabeth Eckerson (1764-1846). They had a son Theodorus (Peck No.226), b1791; d1872. Peck states that Theodorus married Leah Cooper and had "at least two children": John,b1826 and Jacob, b1822.
So, you seem to bring to light a second marriage, and at least one more offspring.
