Hi,

I am in the Sebring line and am related to the Polhemus line.

If you go into familysearch.com type in Jan Roeloffsen Sebring (b: 1631 in Beyler, Drenthe, Netherlands) and click you will see he married Adrianna Polemius in 1661. It should show you who her parents were (Johnannes Theodorus Polhemius and Catherine Van Der Werven). You can click Pedigree and keep going back to see more. You may even want to try just typing Johannes Polhemius in to see if anyone from N.Y comes up. I have been told they were a prominant family in N.Y. and one of them was a well known minister.

Hope this helps.

Kathy
