Tim, This is about 5 years late but There was a Peter J Polen(d) who was born in Prince william Co. Va who was killed in WWI, 1917, This Peter was born in Feb 1895. His father was Peter Sr. and inherited and ran a very properous Dairy farm. William Pattie b 1769 (one of the twins) was Peter Sr.'s grandfather. Peter spelled his name with a "d" on the end. My grand mother was a Polen and so I have alot of Polen's in my data base on the descendents of John Polen, William b1769's son who found his love in va. and did not go to Ohio. If you need any data on the Va. polen's I might be able to help.Jfpattie@aol.com
