Actually, the spelling looks fine as it is. The "z" likely had a dot over it (changes the pronunciation) but Knizewski is a name still in use in Poland, per Rymut's website . If you go there, type "Kni*ewski" (where you use an asterisk * as a wildcard since you cannot type the z with the dot) into the white search box and click on "Szukaj" (you guessed it, that means "search"). You'll see a few other similarly spelled names, but I think you already have it right.
I see on the Ellis Island site a Jan Knizewski, age 26, arriving in 1907 and going to an acquaintance Stefan Kiczuk in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Is he yours? Looks like the spelling of his hometown is Ochrymowce, near Grodno. There used to be an online phone book but I don't believe it exists any more.
