Susan,

Jan and Jozef, 24 and 18, single, arrived on Ellis Island on April 18, 1906. Ship Nieuw Amsterdam, departure from Rotterdam on April 7. Their last residence looks like Schudoch. Their destination was Freeport, PA, to meet their brother Tomasz. They declared they were from Austria.

I did not find Tomasz or Wojciech in EI, so I assume they came through another port. However, I did find an arrival for Wojciech's daughter, Marya, 19, arriving on June 19, 1906, from Antwerp, on ship The Finland. She declared her last residence as Stura (actually, Stara Wies), in Austria. Wojciech'residence was Moundaur (?) street 42 Buffalo NY.

There is also a Stanislaw,19, coming from Stara Wies, in Austria. He arrived on May 24, 1910. Ship was The Ryndam, departured from Rotterdam on May 14. He was going to Buffalo and his mother's name was Barbara (in Poland) and father's name was Jozef, in Buffalo.113 Kail Street.

There were four Stara Wies in what was then Galicia.Three are now in Poland, and one is in Ukraine.

Gilberto
