Tadeusz, thank you for all your help!

I did try to contact my grandfather's church BUT that site isn't there anymore and also, another person (in Poland) tried to contact the pastor at the church and stated that I was looking to see if he can help me in searching the church records for the spelling of my grandfather's mom's name back in the 1880's - He told the person that he didn't have the time to seek out and that he had to go to the University (Warsaw) to teach, etc. and he said for me to come to Poland and find out for myself. I thought to myself - so many Americans are seeking out their relatives in Europe and the only "true" clues are in church records - they (pastors) should have parishioners of the churches who want to volunteer their services in helping the ones who are looking for their families and yes, a donation would be acceptable to fund their church in some way - I just don't understand!

Marlene
