Well, your prediction came true quicker than you might have guessed - - the ability to link Katarzyna to your Michal means that, with Norbert's very keen research instinct, you now know the name of Michal's mother: Marya. Great!

Still, it would be nice to find a trail for Julia. If I were you, I would be searching the Ellis Island database for people with first name beginning "Jul" (so that you capture Julia, Juljanna, all of those sorts of spellings) and last name beginning "Tud" and "Tod" to see if you can find her. Also, we can see that your Michal was born in 1870 and his sister Katarzyna was born in 1882, suggesting that there are probably a lot of siblings in between. How many of them might have emigrated, I cannot guess.
