I think that Bakalariski can be BAKAŁARZEWO – in powiat Suwalski, Województwo Podlaskie.
(but I’m not sure!!)

(„Ł” or „ł” is a polish letter spell how „w” in word „window”)
(RZ – is a polish ONE double-letter spell how in “J” in French name “Jan Cloude”)
Bakałarzewo You can spell “Bakawajevo”.

Suwalski (Suwalskie) from a city Suwałki,
"Podlaskie" mean literal “under-forest”.

I too found Józef (polish spelling Juzef - "ó" its a grammatik form "u") in a Ellies Island near NY (open link):
