I am almost certain that you are correct! My wife said that he was called Leon but in all the online records I've seen he is only referred to as Leo. Leon Janicki was born on 3 April 1892 making him 18 years old on August 22, 1910.

But I can't figure out where Fogoszelle, Russia, is or was. Any ideas. Thanks for your assistance.
