My Polish eyes see: the letter and this picture was possibly sent after WWII time by Anna the sister of your Gma Mary Szczepina, her full Polish name after marriage is Anna Chrzascik (Chrząścik in Polish), she is on this picture with her granddaughter Gienia (Eugenia as fully) and with Genia's children son Andrzej and daughter Ania (Anna as fully).
Thus, her family name is Chrzascik.
Now, this is wonderful confirmation from Poland, in this Plaza are still living:
