Hi Tad,
Your help is so appreciated! Yesterday I located the Catholic Church in Lachowo and sent a letter addressed as:

Zwiastowania NMP
Lachowo 50
Lachowo, 18-505
Poland

I will also follow your suggestion and try to make contact with the two “relatives” you gave me. This will be an exciting step!

I have been doing genealogical research on my father’s family for 25 years but have never been able to break the language and distance barrier of my Polish mother’s family. My Grandfather Wierzbicki was especially reluctant to discuss his life in Poland. My goal is to place my Polish family in context within the history of Poland, and with the help you have given me, I just might be able to do it!

With sincere gratitude,
Adrianne
