Polish Obituary
In tracing my family I've come across many obituaries that were listed in a Polish paper in my home town area of Buffalo, NY.Fortunately google translate let's me translate it into English. What I can't translate are 2 major points in every obituary.First, every one has the letters D. O. M. and of course google doesn't know what that stands for.The other is the letters "Sp." that is usually before the name of the person in the obituary regardless of whether it's a male or female.I'm sure that it's something quite common in Polish but I don't have a clue as to what D. O. M. or Sp. mean.
Thanks in advance.
