Ok I see now, Thank you for making this clear to me.My Madej side of the family has a area named Budy as the last town residing in before leaving Poland for the USA. Are you familiar with this area? I see brief mentioning of Austria also, maybe this is a similar situation, under Austrian rule? From what I can see it looks like Madej is a very common name.
I just found that my Great Grandmother who married to Madej family had a maiden name of Rogala, also common. From Budy
My Great Grandmother on Kobylasz side wasmaiden name Gozdialka, Spelling?probably from Lublin, I can not find any information on this last name at all, I am thinking I have the spelling wrong. My Great GrandfatherFelix was a musician at a military school I am guessing this to be in the Lublin area also. Felix's WWI draft record mentions a Joseph Kobylasz around his same age but no one in our family seems to know about him.
Thank you so much for your information this has helped me with my search very much.I have limited information from Poland to date, I am just about ready to start the search outside the USA.I did try the link you sent but nothing was available online from Poland.
