Hi Sonia,
Just a couple of things to add that you may already know.
Mary (Maria) Laikowicz arrived at Ellis Island on April 14, 1914 on board the S.S. Russia that sailed from Libau, Russia (now known as Liepaja Latvia).
She was traveling with Natasia (Stella?) and Sophie “Schinko” (Zinko?).
All three (3) were headed for 198 Willard Street in Bridgeport CT where they were going to join their brother-in-law, husband and father Joseph “Czinko”.All three (3) were detained at Ellis Island pending contact with Joseph.
I will forward you copies of the manifest and detention records.
I will also send you a copy of a 1923 map of the ancestral home.It appears that the name of the ancestral village was MORYNO, IWJE (now known as MORINO in the Grodno Region and Ivie District of Belarus).

The Ancestral parish may have been the Holy Trinity Church.
