My dear friend, thanks for your help! Really, every thought is so important to help Trudi to uncover her family homeland in this part of Europe, thanks for your wishes, I have few hours free before leaving for first part of summer vacation to France and Spain, I've made second analysis, and I can tell for today:
For sure we have Jewish "Shedlitz Gubernia" which means Siedlce Guberia Russia-Poland with few counties I gave with my first message, all are located in the Central-East Poland, but where is the family origin? Let's start with Gma Anna Kauffman and all her children's ship manifest giving her POB as "Olashau??", and their father/grandfather Leib Lew's town as "Oliszow?? Sedelice Gobernia" - my Polish ears listen it phonetcally as maybe ZELISZEW (Duzy) located just 20 ok in West of SIEDLCE, or ZELECHOW:
ZELISZEW:

With Polish "Slownik Geograficzny", giving the Jewish community - 93 Jews in abt 1880: http://dir.icm.edu.pl/pl/Slownik_geograficzny/Tom_XIV/771http://dir.icm.edu.pl/pl/Slownik_geograficzny/Tom_XIV/771

I would suggest Trudi that the right is ZELECHOW, as this was the town inhabited mainly by Jews, thus, Trudi must check Jewish civil/church records from the 19th century from this Zelechow, trying to locate the records of Gma Anna and all her family LEWs from this town.

And my second guess re family origin of Gpa and Guncles' KAUFFMANs - we have from the given ship manifests "Lamass, Lemass, Lamaz(z long type), Shedlitz" - I suppose the true is LOMAZY from same area, located few miles of BIALA (PODLASKA):
LOMAZY
With Polish Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%81omazyhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%81omazy
With "Slownik Geograficzny:"
http://dir.icm.edu.pl/pl/Slownik_geograficzny/Tom_V/690http://dir.icm.edu.pl/pl/Slownik_geograficzny/Tom_V/690 - we have confirmation that in this Lomazy in the 19th there was also Jewish Synagogue (in Polish - Boznica).
If this is the correct town, Trudi must check Jewish civil/church records from the 19th century from this Lomazy, trying to locate the records of Gpa and all his family KAUFFMANs from this town.
