Hi Tiffani,
Why do you think that Helen Morczynski was born in New York?
The 1900, 1910 and 1920 U.S. census documents indicate that she was born in Michigan. The 1930 census says Helen was born in New York but it also says that her parents were born in Pennsylvania when in fact they were born in Poland.
From 1900 until 1930, the John Morczynski family lived in the St. Francis of Assisi Polish Parish in Detroit’s West Side (just a few blocks away from the Sieradzki family).
In all likelihood, that is the parish where all of the Morczynski children were baptized and where Stanley Sieradzki and Helen Morczynska were married on May 1, 1917.
Here is hyperlink to information about St. Francis Assisi birth, marriage and death records:

Do you live in the Detroit area?
You may want to follow the directions in my posting #50806 and get the U.S. naturalization documents for Jan/John Morczynski.
Those would be most comprehensive documents containing information about John’s ancestral home and immigration process.
Best regards,
Norbert
