Stickovitch Family from around Fayette Co.Pa., original spelling
Hello everyone, I am helping an uncle try to find the original spelling of this name. He knows they came to America around 1910 from perhaps Lithuania (?) The name was changed to Stickovitch upon entering the country. My instint says it may have been Polish originally with the unusual markings and letters that would have required a different english spelling. The imigrant ancestor was John and his wife (?) he died in 1918. They were married before they came to U.S. they had about 5 or 6 children. This is all I know at this time. Any help or advice will be gratefully accepted.
