I am researching any information on a Valentine Smith/Schmidt/Smyke/Smyk that was married to a woman named Helen who had a son named Joseph Chester or John Joseph, born around April 13, 1891-1901 in Warsaw, Poland. He was sent over to America to New York. All the information that was given to the family is that Valentine was a very rich man. Can anyone help me find this family or anything about them? They may have been in concentration camps, as Joseph said that was the reason he was sent to America. It is very important to the descendants of this family to find this information and to have it verified. Please help with any kind of information. Thank you in advance.
