town, Gubernia ??..Slanje or, Shan y? a. There are several
Makow towns, pronounced "MAH-kuf". Record shows 'Makuf'.Now
the clue is:in what gubernia in 1890's(when Alex/Aleksander
was born) was Makow located. Norbert, check the original rec
on his WW I draft reg. & tell us what gubernia do you think
the recorder, Anthony F. wrote down!!!!
