Hi Jacek, First, you start by providing the maiden name and any other information you have about your grandfather’s sister (i.e., her approximate date and place of birth, her date and port of immigration, the names of her parents, her destination in the U.S., etc. Almost every immigrant to the U.S. had a Polish/American sponsor who guaranteed that the immigrant would have a place to stay and a job when they arrived in the U.S. The immigrants would settle in a U.S. location that had familiar people from their ancestral village living near-by. They remained clustered in the same Polish speaking neighborhood, attended the same Polish church and patronized Polish speaking merchants.
