HI,
I use www.stevemorse.org > Gold Form.
In Name field I type JAN (later Anna) and select Starts with
In Surname field I type only Stru (later Zabrz) and Starts With.
I select Male (or Female) to narrow the search.
I do not consider date of entry, because the immigrant may have forgotten it, or declared it wrong when filling papers many years later.
When the results page is displayed I consider all spellings that look like the one I am searching for, even in a remote way.
