Jennifer,

Just in case you don't know: John and Annie are americanized names. You would have to look for Jan or Johann or Johannes and Anna or Hanna.

Also, maybe they didnīt came through Ellis but another port, such as Baltimore, Philadelphia, Boston, Detroit and Providence.

Have in mind that EI records transcribers made mistakes. God only know what they may have read where Struchowski was written.

www.herby.com.pl shows Struchowicz and Struczowski as possible spellings. Zombrzycka: I guess it is Za~brzycka (the tailed 'a' sounds like OM).

All this considered, there is a Janas Strucewski, from Kowno (Lithuan), born about 1876 and arrived in Ellis in 1906. A Antonina Zabrzyczka and a Anna Zabrzewska were also found.
