Mrs. Anna Siewicki, age 91, resident of Thunder Bay died June 18, 2002 in Hogarth Westmount Hospital. Born and raised in Iwanoka Poland, Anna moved to Canada in 1959 with her husband and son John, settling in Geraldton for a short time. They moved on to Fort William, where she has resided since. She was a longtime member of St. Casimirīs Church. Anna is survived by her daughter Czeslawa Mrozek of Thunder Bay, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Nellie Siewicki, niece Joyce Pogue and husband Richard all of Thunder Bay. Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive in Poland. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Anastazia Martiniuk, husband Tomas, sons John (Thunder Bay), Thaddeus and Kazimir, brother Simenow and sister Stefania all in Poland. Funeral services for Anna Siewicki will be held Friday, June 28, 2002 when friends and family will gather for Funeral Mass in St. Casimirīs Church at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. George Zebrowski o..f.m. Interment will follow in St. Patrickīs Cemetery. Vigil services will be offered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. A tree will be planted in memory of Anna Siewicki in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove
