Kevin,

I'm afraid nowbody will reply, as "Dolornowske" is not right spelled, acc to me, and basing on main Polish etymological books, including best Polish etymologist Prof. K. Rymut's, the nearest versions might be:

I. Dolobowski (fully spelling is Dol~obowski), derived from the family cradle and place named Dolobow (Dol~obow), "kresy wschodnie" area - meaning the old Poland, now Ukraine, Belarus, and/or Lithuania.

II. Doliniarski, derived from family cradle and the place named Doliniany - same area as above.

III. Dolegowski (Dol~egowski), derived from Dolega (Dol~ega), noted from 1391, Old Polish Noble COA "Dol~ega", from all old and present Poland.

IV. Dolnikowski, Dulnikowski, derived from Polish name and word Dol (Do~l~), all Poland.

V. Etc.

Hope this helps a little in your invaluable search.

Tad
