Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

LDS Indexing Project

Hi, all

In http://www.familysearchindexing.org/en/index.jsp I found that LDS is accepting volunteers to transcribe their records, starting with the 1900 US Census. According to the site, upcoming projects will soon be available (Poland?), and all of their database will be free for everyone, through the Internet.

I donīt see the point for the 1900 Census. Isnīt it already indexed through Ancestry.com?

Gilberto
