Further on this topic, Arthur Hobson Quinn, in an introduction to his THE COMPLETE TALES AND POEMS OF EDGAR ALLAN POE, states that Edgar got to know his grandmother (wife of the elder David Poe) and his aunt, Mrs. Clemm, in Baltimore before going to West Point in 1830. I believe Mrs. Clemm was a sister of Edgar's father, actor David Poe, Jr.

After leaving the Point, Edgar lived with his aunt and young cousin, Virginia, in Baltimore some of the time. After securing a position as editor of the Southern Literary Messenger, he arranged a residence and brought Mrs. Clemm and Virginia to Richmond in 1835, where Edgar and his young cousin married in 1836.

While Edgar had a brother (William Henry) and a sister, Rosalie, I have seen nothing to show that Virginia Clemm had any siblings.
